Gosia Warrink studied german philology and linguistics in Warsaw and Berlin, followed by visual communication at the Berlin University of the Arts. She founded the design studio AMBERDESIGN and the publishing company AMBERPRESS. Warrink is author and designer of ICOON, the bestselling picture dictionary. In 2015, she launched the charity project ICOON for refugees – a free dictionary book & app for refugees and helpers. Since 2016 she teaches design at Berlin University of the Arts, researching for her PhD on „Universal visual language“.
